CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH COURSE |
It
is four-level series for adult and young adult learners
of English from the beginning to the high-intermediate
level, Students will gain skills in the English language
in terms of the four skills, speaking, listening, reading
and writing. At the end of the forth level, students
is capable to sit for IELTS or TOEFL.

Structure and Organization of the Programme:

¡¤ Speaking ¨C Conversations, Pair-work, Role-plays, Group
work and class activities
Entrance Test: Student will be admitted the suitable
level base on the Entrance Test
Assessment: Periodic assessments will monitor students¡¯
progress while the semester-end examination will decide
promotion to the next level.
Duration: each level last about 6 months, lesson will
be conducted from Monday to Friday, three hours per
day .
Learn with Fun: Activities involving pairs and small
groups will be used in the classroom and outdoor excursions,
visits and other development programs will be introduced
throughout the entire program to enhance learning.
Intro Level : 6 months
It is designed for beginning students needing a thorough,
slow-paced presentation of basic functions, grammar
structures, and vocabulary. It is based on the principle
that low-level learning does not equal low-level thinking.
Topics such as clothing and fashion, sports and hobbies,
food and diet, and holidays and customs are presented
in unique ways using interesting real-life.
Level One: 6 months
The course builds on the foundations established in
the Intro level for accurate and fluent communication,
extending grammatical, lexical, and functional skills.
Topics such as school, work, leisure activities, entertainment,
and food are presented in unique ways using interesting
real-life information. Particular emphasis is placed
on listening and speaking. Students will gain communicative
competence, that is, the ability to communicate in English
according to the situation, purpose and roles at the
elementary level. They will be able to talk about themselves,
to each other and about the environment or society.
Level Two: 6 months
The course builds on the foundations established in
the level one for accurate and fluent communication,
extending grammatical, lexical, and functional skills.
Topics such as travel, childhood, customs, personality,
and predicaments are presented in unique ways using
interesting real-life information. At the end of Level
Two, students will be able to talk about transportation
and transportation problem, ask for and give information,
describe positive and negative features, make comparisons,
talk about changing lifestyles, express wishes, talk
about food, expressing likes and dislikes, give instructions,
describe vacations, give travel advice, plan a vacation,
make requests, accept and refuse requests, complain,
apologize, give excuses etc, describe technology, give
instructions, describe holidays, festivals, customs
and special events etc.
Level Three: 6 months
Topics such as relationships, the media, self-improvement,
business and advertising, and controversial issues are
presented in unique ways using interesting real-life
information. Students are encouraged to analyze the
system of languages in use as well as exposing them
to a variety of challenging and interesting text-types
in the listening and reading activities. Students are
also simulated to give their own opinions and participate
in discussions and role-plays related to school, social
life, work and leisure. Students will gain communicative
competence, that is, the ability to communicate in English
according to the situation, purpose and role. |
